What to Do on Visit From Drug Rehab?
Question by Rusty Nail: What to do on visit from drug rehab?
[rewrite]My sister is 17 and has been in a court ordered drug rehab facility for the past 8 months.
She now gets 12 hours visits away from the facility, and on those visits my mother likes to have her go tanning, to the mall, get nails done, etc. I think that time should be spent going to colleges, the library … something like that so that when she is out she can do something with her life. My mom says this is her “reward” time and has elaborate plans for fun stuff.
About Drug Rehab and Clinic … ?
Question by Gracie: About drug rehab and clinic … ?
[rewrite]Hello my best friend is now is a clinic.
She is in and out for a long time..from cocaine (witch she is using for 7 years) and alcohols..etc, she is taking cocaine every 5 min and a bottle of vodka every 30 min..first I thought it is a joke but it wasn’t.
I am paling to go and look after her, but the problem is now.
What can the clinic do? and if you (or some one you know) ever been in a rehab please tell me what they really do to help you.
Thank you!

Will Suboxone Show Up on a Criminal Back Ground Check for Nursing School?!?
Question by cary j: Will Suboxone show up on a criminal back ground check for nursing school?!?
[rewrite]I have been on this medication for over a year in the state of Alabama. I have read a few posts mention that if you get a prescription for it that it can show up on a criminal background check??? I have JUST been accepted , but now have drug tests / criminal background checks etc… I am aware that if i am on it when im drug tested it will likely show up depending on the drug screen but I was planning on getting off of it.. BUT , this whole thing with the background check and it showing up on it is a TOTAL bummer !! Is this a state by state thing? does it depend on who does the background check?? And if it is a definitive yes, should I simply tell them up front that I am on the drug? I cannot imagine them allowing me to be on this medication, much less even having used it in the past. Another concern would be that even if I can go to school would the state boards allow me to sit for the NCLEX with this in my past? I have NOT been convicted of any crime or been admitted into any mental health wards or rehabs. This is an opiate treatment drug but not exactly a rehab.. Any input would be appreciated!! Thanks so much in advance !!! 🙂
