Does anybody know if I can find a drug rehabilitation center here in Pismo Beach? My friend Gayle really needs to know. She convinced her boyfriend Elton to enter a rehab to deal with his heroin problem. He’s been secretly addicted to it for about a year and now he wants to stop. Gayle made him choose between her and the heroin. Elton chose Gayle so now he has to say bye-bye to his old friend heroin. Please help. Thanks.

My friend is struggling with ecstasy addiction and this has put a strain on our relationship. My friends and I are conflicted between wanting to help and fearing the consequences.

okay, i dont have the normal drinking/smoking addiction. I have an eating/chewing addiction. I dont even know if there is medication to solve this, or if its really even concidered a problem. I chew (and sometimes eat) pens, pencils, bracelets, necklaces, crayons, play dough, paper, erasers plastic.. pretty much anything!!! I eat also small beads, fingernails and even my hair (which wont grow anymore, because once its grows, i chew it up). i want to stop. its nasty and its so childish. its not like im hungrey all the time, i just do it, when ever i see somthing, i just put it in my mouth. please help, anyhting!!!!

I am a thirty year old recovering drug addict and alcoholic. In 2006 and 2005 i was arrested for shoplifting on three different occasions and was convicted for gross misdeamenor theft on all three charges. I stole to support an out of control heroin addiction. I graduated from the University of Mn twin cities campus with a degree in applied economics in 2001. After school my drinking and drugging spun out of control and by 2004 i was a full fledged heroin addict homeless living on the streets of minneapolis. After i was arrested the third time i was jailed and while awaiting trial i was furlowed to a drug and alcohol treatment center. After completing the treatment i went to live in a christian based sober house where I found god and jesus came into my heart. This experience has forever changed my life. I have been sober for over one year now. Before moving to the sober house i was an agnostic and i did not know god. I am curios if i could be a teacher in mn with my record?

My cousin has an addiction problem to crack cocaine. She will not go to rehab. Can I have the local authorities come and Baker Act my cousin and have her “taken away” to get treatment for her crack addiction problem?
