I have to do a paper on this. I already have some ideas but I thought it would be better to get some people’s opinions too. If you can cite some sources as well, that would be great.

Drug treatment programs help in fostering a healthier society. With every person treated for his drug addiction, there’s one person brought back to sobriety and productivity. Productivity that society will benefit from. It also follows that when one gets treated from drug addiction, his loved ones will be happier and this will cause ripples of positivity. Researches have also shown that drug treatment decreases instances of crime, abuse, and spreading of diseases such as HIV and AIDS, among others.
Petitions to Keep Starbucks Stores Open: Craziness or Caffeine Addiction?
Question by Good?Gyrl: Petitions to keep Starbucks stores open: Craziness or Caffeine Addiction?
I read in the Wall Street Journal that there are groups around the country circulating petitions and calling Starbucks’ headquarters trying to stop them from closing stores. Are they insane? Coffee is NOT that important. I think it’s ridiculous! They have more than enough stores – for example, Chicago and NY: you can’t walk 5 city blocks without finding at least THREE or more Starbucks stores. I think it’s insanity. Do you think it’s time they closed, or are you sad?
