Keep in mind that cancer is NOT a single disease and different treatments work for different types of cancers.

GSK2118436 (dabrafenib) is a selective ATP-competitive BRAF inhibitor being developed for the treatment of BRAF V600E mutation malignant melanoma. Mutations in BRAF are associated with increased growth and proliferation of cancer cells. In clinical trials, GSK2118436 was administered orally at 150mg twice daily.
