Question by crankystar: How can someone quit heroine for good?
My sister was a heroine user for about 5 years. She is now taking a substitute referred to as “Subutex”. But it seems that men and women who use the substitue drug are ‘stuck’ with it. How can someone truly allow go of the drug?? I am aware that a lot of rehab amenities are there to support individuals, but in France, like anyplace else I guess, it can be quite pricey to enter a private facility. If you want to enter other ‘free’ services, there is a waiting checklist, and there is completely NO assure that you will be accepted for therapy. Can any individual recommend a stage-by-stage kind of system? Suggestions? Guidance? A guide dealing on a specific step-by-phase program? Please do not tell me to send her to a rehab center. I am at the moment searching at a center that would be cost-free of charge to her, but in situation she is not accepted, I require to know what we could do to aid her by ourselves.
