Lindsay Lohan, fresh out of rehab, has been arrested again on DUI charges, and posession of cocaine.

If this is true, why did Lohan reportedly spend her 4th of July weekend with family, friends, and a possible boyfriend? Wasn’t she still supposed to be checked into rehab, and supposedly receiving 24-hour care and supervision?

…we see she is not wearing any alcohol monitoring device, as she was reported to be wearing when she left rehab.

It doesn’t matter what the addiction is… if you have a constant compulsion to do it and it begins to interfere with your life in any way and you still aren’t able to stop, then you can consider it an addiction.

I’m looking for a drug rehab in florida.
Any place that would let me bring along my laptop would be a definite win.
Any place that’ll allow 2 family members at the same rehab is also a plus but not as important.
Just looking for a decent place that would allow me to use my laptop sometimes.

Both of my parents abuse drugs, and i need a support group to help me get through this. FYI: Im 32 years old parents are in their late 50’s. The drug abuse started well before i was born.

Nar A Non, look in the phone book for Narcotics Anonymous or Alcoholics Anonymous. I know for members of AA they have Al-A-Non for family members. It is free all you have to do is go to meetings. They have schedules of meetings in your area. You can also call the local mental health hotline and ask them or the hospital in your area.

Friends of mine have an adult child who has already been through short term drug and alcohol rehab (2 weeks to 30 days) treatments, only to relapse. He needs longer term treatment to address the psychological problems associated with addiction; but like millions of other Americans he has no insurance.
Is anyone aware of any long term treatment centers that may help him?

Yes, there are but there is no national program that sponsors them.

I have a VERY close family member who is a drug addict. I myself DO NOT enable him in ANY way! Not 5 dollars, not a ride here or anything at all. But I DO have several family members who DO enable him!!! It is so frustrating that they are still enabling his addiction. My question is What all options do we have for treatment for him. He has been to 3 rehabs. I wondered if it could be treated medically???
