Can Anybody Help With Some Advice for Homeopathic Remedies to Help With Giving Up Metadone and Other Drugs?
Question by cocoscupboard: Can anybody help with some advice for homeopathic remedies to help with giving up metadone and other drugs?
Please help with any advice on alternative homeopathic remedies such as ginseng, valarian etc, anything that could help someone who is gradually detoxing from serious drug addictions. I have been reunited with a family member who lives abroad and discovered he has been addicted for 30 years to heroin, and is now on 150ml methadone per day, 20 tablets of diazepam (5mg) and nitrazepam (5mg) 20 tabs per day, plus other pills for sleeping and stomach problems. He now really wants to get clean but can’t do cold turkey as he could die thorugh this option aparently? He also has hepatitus b and c and has a poor liver now.
Please help, advice is much appreciated! He lives in Scandinavia and there are no centres locally.

How Can We Find or Recognize Victims of Sex Slavery in Kansas City?

I think that all crack addicts, heroin addicts, and prostitutes are victims of slavery in the United States. I watched a show on tv about this and it was called 60 minutes. It was very shocking and disturbing as it is a hidden slave trade in America and few feel any pity for these victims. You can find this slave trade going on all over the major cities and I feel that the federal government should do something about it. These women are slaves to their addiction and a slave to their life style and there is no way out. It is really horrible that this exists in our modern America. Gross!

it matters what kind of drugs, how old the person is, and how seriously addicted they are. if someone does weed once a month with their friends, it wont affect the family much. but if someone is setiously into heroin, the person will need a lot of money to buy the heoin in the first place, theyll be very emotionally unstable, and might have to go to rehab. which will shock everyone in the family and make some parents feel guilty and other parents angry. well their are a lot of problems that come from drugs. didnt even mention health and health bills
