[rewrite]How do you tell if someone has a prescription drug addiction? Is it similar to an illegal drug addiction? I have a loved one who I am very concerned about. They take prescription drugs for medical purposes. But they affect them the same way that illegal drugs affect others. They take 35 every day. They are a nurse. They can give a medical justification for every one of them. But the way they react at different times makes me wonder. Their emotions go up and down. They have the same reactions as a drug addict. Can someone give some advice on helping my loved one.

[rewrite]i just found out that my boyfriend has been doing meth every weekend. he has always had a problem with meth long before i got with him. but he told me he would get help. i thought he was doing ok, though he did it every once in a while i thought he was starting to try. i have already left him once for this and he said he quit and i really thought he did. i think he did for a while but he decided that since he had been doing good that it was ok for him do a little bit. he thinks doing a dime is not a big deal.
i really need some advice. we have been together for a year and he just wont stop. i want him to go to rehab but i dont know how to talk him into going. i live in fort worth texas, so if anyone knows of a good place for him to go or if there is a way to have him taken by someone else where he has no choice, please tell me, im so lost.

[rewrite]He’s been addicted to drinking, oxycotin, and now heroin!!! I’m very scared for him. I know he is a grown man but what on earth can I do to help. He knows exactly where I stand on the subject. I offer for him to hangout with my husband and our friends to keep him out of trouble. But it’s no help. Are there rehabs that don’t cost anything up front?! Can I take him somewhere? He seems like he wants the help.
