I have a neighbor who went to a drug rehabilitation center for a year, but he went back to doing drugs again after that. This just makes me think about whether those programs really work or not.

I think with anything, wheel power is more powerful that any rehabilitabtion programs on the planet, i am a strong believer that rehabilitation programs help people that want to be helped. And that want to help themselves.

How should the girl in my story find out about her boyfriends drug addiction?
This guy and girl are dating. He secretly has been addicted to heroin for years. But one of his friends told her about his addiction. She confronts him about it and he promises her he will stop. After a few months she thinks he has stopped taking heroin for good. But in reality he does it when she is not around and during his lunch breaks. Anyway, I need a good part in where she finds out that he has not quit.

The government is to blame. They are aware that many of these drugs are addictive but refuse to do anything about it b/c they want the pharmaceutical companies to make money.

From my research it seems that Suboxone is safer, fits into your life better (no standing in line at 5am) and does not have the severe withdrawals that methadone users experience. I would like some real life answers..it is to get off of the roller coaster of pain pill addiction. How expensive is Suboxone w/o insurance?
