[rewrite]i used to be a meth addict about 4 years ago (i was addicted for 2.5 years). After that i was perscribed Lexapro 20mg once daily, Welbutrin SR 150mg twice daily. Now i take that plus a nightly birth control pill, about 5-6 Vicodin/daily (the “doubleshot” ones) and if i don’t have those i take my friends Adderall about 2 times a day. I know this sounds stupid but, i am going to die if i don’t stop soon huh?

Call your local health department. They can refer you to a local center, free if you are hurting for funds. You can call them and you won’t even have to give your name and you can call from a pay-phone if you’re worried about callerID.
1. An on-line site can answer questions but it can’t help you.
2. You can get help without any invasion of privacy.
3. You won’t get any answers worth a kr ap on Yahoo Answers.

Drug rehabilitation is the only way to treat addiction to a particular drug or substance. Cocaine addiction is a serious disease that needs comprehensive treatment process like detoxification, counseling and other addiction recovery program.

[rewrite]I’ll spare you most of the details and get to the question. Brother: Addict, has lost EVERYTHING!! form job, car even 1 week old new born son & girlfriend, who left yesterday!! All because he chooses his addiction over anything & anyone. My question is: Do we leave him at his house (of which is getting evicted of in 3 days) to just let reality hit & Him as an ADULT figure out what he’s going to do?? Or is that wrong should we STILL be trying to be there convincing him to go to rehab. He has been to 4 rehabs and doesn’t seem to WANT help at this point, though I am sure that is the addict talking or thinking, not the TRUE person underneath. ADVICE? 🙁
